2020 May Not Be the Year to Visit Disney for Yeshiva Break

Disney just announced that a major attraction, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, will open in the newly minted Star Wars Land in Disneyland on January 17th, 2020 and on December 5th, 2019 in the soon opening Star Wars Land in Walt Disney World Resort. According to Disney:

When it opens, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will blur the lines between fantasy and reality and will put guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance. Guests will be recruited to join Rey and General Organa at a secret base. Along the way, they will be captured by a First Order Star Destroyer. With the help of some heroes of the Resistance, they break out and must escape the Star Destroyer, protect the secret base, and stay one step ahead of Kylo Ren.

While extremely exciting for Star Wars fans, if one looks at the calendar, this has the potential to make the already popular Star Wars land a zoo come late January 2020 (when “Yeshiva Break” takes place). So, if you are planning on heading to Disney World or Disneyland in 2020 (or DL in December 2019) be prepared for a very crowded experience at least in Hollywood Studios/California Adventure.
