Have you noticed Harry Potter’s latest trick? He has made kosher food appear at Universal Studios. While the availability and options are limited, and the meals are pretty costly, it’s certainly a start. Kosher meals are available for service at Lombard’s Seafood Grille and Finnegan’s Bar & Grill in Universal Studios Florida®; and Confisco Grille® and Mythos Restaurant®
The menu is the same at all the restaurants and includes Baked Lemon Herb Fish (with rice pilaf and green beans), Herb Roasted Chicken (with carrot tzimmes and egg barley), and Salisbury Steak (with mashed potatoes and corn & peas), all provided by Spring Valley under the OU.
The price is listed as $28.99 plus tax per meal (they are listed as $28.99 at the restaurant but they tacked on a $2.99 per meal fee) and they request 72 hours advanced notice for preparation purposes, but in previous experience they actually only required 4 hours’ notice. Instructions from Universal for placing your reservation are to call Guest Services at (407) 224-4233, select option four (4), and mention your restaurant choice and entrée selection.

After arriving at the restaurant, it took 45 minutes to prepare the food, even when given the proper notice, so budget your time accordingly. However, it should be noted that the service was really good and they made sure to provide ample plastic plates and cutlery for everyone to share.
Additionally, on the Universal City Walk they have Menchies Frozen Yogurt which has many kosher flavors, and (at the time of this printing) the popcorn is also under the OU ($5.99 for a souvenir cup and $1.39 for refills)[1]
[1]The oil at the time was also kosher, but these could change at any time so one should check and also speak with their ROC (Rabbi of Choice) regarding whether this can be relied on.
